Topic: Solidoodle logo name plate for all!

Those crumby stickers came off the frame of our printer when we unboxed it months ago and I finally got around to finishing a proper name plate which can be found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1056908

I haven't posted the make yet, but as of right now the space is too large, so to make it fit I had to put a bunch of pieces of tape on the frame to thicken it out. Other changes I see fit would be to round the bottom edges or have it meet with the bottom of the letters at an angle to save a little filament. I'm still working on the SketchUp file but when I have it finished, I'll export a dual color version to better emulate the actual logo.

Printed a dual color one, too bad I didn't have any green!

Also, the print looks much better IRL, the camera flash pronounces all the lines. Need to do another temp test on the blue though.

Re: Solidoodle logo name plate for all!

Finally went back and removed the slide on part, because you had to print it with supports horizontally or vertically. Even printed it in the correct colors! Now anyone can use adhesive to attach one of these bad boys to your printer!
[EDIT] Still requires dual color printer to print.
