Topic: Should I have a PTFE Tube here?

I did the Bowden drive E3Dv6 upgrade on my Press. Should I have a PTFE tube between the spool and the extruder motor? The photo shows how I feed it now. I don't think it's causing any problems but my extruder does occasionally spin instead of pushing filament.

The PTFE is only required from the extruder to the hotend.
If you wanted to add an extra run between the spool and extruder it may help keep it clean.
