Topic: Lighting in Repetier

I realize this isn't a Repetier-host support forum, but I don't know where else to turn for help.

I'm modeling a thing in Blender. As I make changes, I'm exporting the .stl from Blender and importing into Repetier to ensure that it'll slice properly.

I'm having problems setting up Repetier so that I can see details in the imported model. I've seen screenshots that look a lot better than what I see on my computer, so I know Repetier can do it, I just don't know how. I've tried manipulating the lights but still don't get any shading.

Is there a secret to getting Repetier to shade my objects in the 3D view?

Re: Lighting in Repetier

Go to Config->3d Viewer Config (Alt+3)
Adjust your settings to what you want... or what works

Check the settings for draw method as this may also help to make it look better.  Mine is set for AutoDetect
