Topic: not extruding

I received my new hot end from SD, ran autotune, no probs, but it is not extruding abs...? I can hear the extruder motor trying to turn, but if i look at it while i hit extrude it does not turn.. if i push the abs down into the extruder, it turns?

any ideas?

any ideas?

sounds like pressure of the idler roller or is your extruder in need of a cleaning?
Those teeth get filled with plastic, forget feeding.

turns out it was the grub screw that holds the toothed cog onto the drive shaft of the extruder motor, quick tighten, and away again...
(getting a bit fed up of cutting the back of my hands on this frame though !!)
