Topic: Python APP Crashing...

Hey guys, I am using the Pronterface interface to try to load STL files into skeinforge and slice.  When I open or load a file, the process of slicing begins, then as soon as the two "extra" graphics windows open, I get a message saying that pyton quit unexpectedly. Error details are below.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled all correct (32 bit, etc.) software packages, and STILL no luck.  Anybody have a solution?  Thanks!  Kev

Re: Python APP Crashing...

Have you tried a different model maybe theres a fatal glitch in your file.  If another file works run your model through cloud.netfabb.com to clean it.  If nothing works try going into skeinforge settings and uncheck skeiniso, forget where it is but do a search on this forum for skeiniso and you'll see it.   Everyone else is going to tell you to switch to repetier and slic3r which may not be the worst idea for you if these suggestions don't help.

Re: Python APP Crashing...

Thanks guys for all your help.  I reinstalled AND optimized Win7 for 32 bit emulation, and I now have the printer operating correctly, EXEPT for the fact that I cannot get ANYTHING to stick to the plate, lol!  I imagine it's a z-tab issue, but I have corrected about 20 times, lol!  PS: I'm trying the .1mm profile in repetier host.....:)
