Topic: Z- Axis quit
Now that I seemed to have everything working, my Z-axis seems to have decided to quit!
How can I test to see that my Z-axis is getting sent data properly? How do you troubleshoot the stepper motors?
Thanks,.

Well, it isn't the stepper motor. I swapped the Y & Z cables, sending data to Y made Z work.
Motor driver?
After < 2 hours of use?
Ugh!
Are you still on your original Sanguinolu board?
Can you measure the resistance of the stepper motor?
Can you see any burns on the motor driver? Are all the soldered connections solid for the z driver?
Can you measure what the driver is set on, using the guide in :

Instructions for Adjusting the Stepper Motor Chips
I had my driver boards tuned to exactly what the troubleshooting guide said to have them at.
I swapped out the Z-Axis motor driver with a new one (tuned), and began a print. Things were going along perfectly, the print was looking great. I left for a bit, then came back...
The print had stopped.
Now my extruder won't heat anymore.
I am really getting tired of all of these issues.
