Topic: Smoothieboard group buy

FYI to anyone looking for a new electronics the delta bot group has a group buy going on good for 25% off.  There is no limit to how many people get in from what Aurthur mentioned and the code is active until next week.

Re: Smoothieboard group buy

25% discount is hard to argue with: given my distance from the rest of the civilised world (EUR 22 or so apparently) I was put off trying out a smoothieboard due to the high cost. Now it's competitive with most RUMBA kits, so I've gone ahead and bought one to play with. Thanks for posting the link, 2nd robot as likely to be a delta as anything else of course! smile

Re: Smoothieboard group buy

yea I was on the fence about getting a smoothieboard before but the group buy came up and I had to jump on it.  If you build a delta definitely hang out in that group there is a wealth of info.  Feel free to ask me for help if you need any pointers or run into issues as I built my own kossel variant.

Super, thanks for the offer. smile
I think I'll start getting it going on the SD first, see how the firmware stacks up next to Marlin, looks pretty tidy (but maybe a few areas still a bit undeveloped?) based on the github page.
Printer 2 is only allowed to be begun after a couple of other projects are finished... haha. smile
