Topic: Just found this filament store in Montreal, prices are awesome!

Hey, to my fellow Canadians, just wanted to let the community know, found a 3D printing filament store based in Montreal that sells ABS and PLA at very generous prices and pretty good quality print. I've been buying my filaments from them for about a month now and the results are very good. They also told me they would start selling in the US soon. Check it out: Creator Fuel

test Review :

I just receive my filament... took 5 days, shipping to Quebec city from Montreal with a local transporter ...

little problems: don't forget to add your phone number in the order, as they use a local transporter that try to phone you, and if you are not at home when they pass, they will bill you for the next pass or you will need to get your shipping on transporter site .

the shop is new... very new... (open december 2014 i think..) so the webshop need some polishing (the web link that they send you for the tracking is not good for example)

the email communication seem to work well. they answer to my inquiry very fast..

the filament itself : i buy the transparent and red one... seem good,  the spool is vacuum seal but the width of the 2 spools is a bit different..why ? (1.75mm filament.. same weigth...)

i will add the result of my printing ASAP...

Re: Just found this filament store in Montreal, prices are awesome!

test was made for the transparent ABS filament, on a stock Solidoodle 4, with stock extruder .

the temp need to be boost a bit vs my standard filament,  but it stay in the normal use of a stock extruder (not full metal). The best is that you can put acetone on it and it become more transparent . Can be usefull on single wall part... i get a near glass effect with acetone on each face of a one wall vase...

my opinion is that it's a very good filament

You get what you pay for. I would like to pay more money to buy a better one
