Topic: Acrylic Jigsaw Replacement Piece

I don't know about the rest of you, but I've had a lot of trouble with the Jigsaw "B" piece.  I've had 3 of them crack now.  I finally sat down and designed a new piece, that will let you continue to use your existing acrylic assembly.  I printed them out at 100% fill.  Good luck!

I would just go the route of lawsey/jeffrey sanders and print the acrylic replacements.  Getting away from that mess will be better in the end.  Jeffrey's setup is interesting with the built in holders for dial indicator and the fan plate. I've got the pieces all printed, just can't force myself to change what isn't broke yet. First extruder clog and the acrylic is gone

Lawsy's replacement actually reuses this part of the original acrylic assembly.

The thiniverse link has recently been updated to include the tensioner arm based on Jeffery Sanders design.

This means no oroginal acrylic pieces are required, only the screws and nuts.

Re: Acrylic Jigsaw Replacement Piece

I am finally going to have time to work on the parts again today; I have be getting some random coiling up in the bottom part of the extruder (between the peek and bottom part)...I ran PID tuning again...not exactly sure what randomly caused this as it had worked w/o issue for weeks...maybe to much heat is rising up the peek  and becoming trapped and causing the filament pre-mature softening...just seems odd that it came about so randomly
