Topic: exhaust bracket

Hey, I've been a member for a while, but this is my first print show off. I printed off a bracket I designed for a Golf R exhaust we developed at work. I had to split the part into two pieces to make it work, but here it is. I'll post more photos tomorrow when I get it on under the car for test fitment.

Yeah, its exciting! One of my coworkers got a quote to get a prototype done at a local machine shop and they wanted $300. Insane.

Haha, I was super gluing the two pieces together and we have some gloves out in the shop so I figured I'd just put some on. It happened to be the one time I used super glue and didn't get glue on my hands either.

Alright, I was able to get under the car today to test fit. I was off by 3/8", I double checked my part dimensions with my drawing, and it was pretty spot on. I changed the drawing and have the new one printing right now. Here is a look under the car

Looks really good McMuffin, we will be printing various car parts soon as well. But mostly trim pieces.
