All,

I've read a little bit about some of the LCD add on projects.  It seem like the Panelolu should be the easiest as it's built into the firmware.  I like the fact that you can grab the cad files online.  I've downloaded the eagle cad files and looked at them.  In the past I would expect to see another micro controller dedicated to the panel, but that would require it's own development.

I am just about to have my pcb guy do some non-related work and have contemplated printing myself one.  Of course, you can't print one.  It's an arm twist to get 10 at minimum.

I certainly don't want to violate any open source agreements or capitalize on other's projects.  At the same time it would be a shame to have extra boards that others might want.  Does anyone know if it's possbile to group buy in order to avoid issues?

Not sure but it would not hurt to have a group buy section...I know we could get some filament discounts...

It won't violate any open source anythings...

if you can't sort a group buy you could always get the boards and sell them on ebay.

My pcb guy usually charges $1 each for "prototype" boards.  They don't get full resolution, but they've never been a problem for me.
