Topic: Saying Hello

Greetings, I am the proud owner of a new Da Vinci 1.0 printer. I have had it about three weeks and although it arrived in relatively intact condition, I am starting to experience a few of the learning curve and hardware issues that seem to be the standard fare.

I find that every time I go to research some topic, the best posts seem to come from this community. So I thought I would jump in, and in a bit maybe I can offer someone else some of that good advice.

Personally, I am a Network Admin now retired on disability. Not the way you want to retire, but hey I can say I retired at 55 and I am doing OK. So life is good and I have plenty of time on my hands to play with my new toy. My other hobbies are woodworking and electronics so I think this will fit right in. smile (Of course I have now blown my budget for the rest of the year.)

Looking forward to making some new friends here.

ttyl,
Menneset
