Topic: Why not Polypropylene?

I'm interested in the use of 3d printers for recycling plastic.  I've been doing some reading about the different types of plastic used for them.  I've found some information about why HDPE isn't popular, but why not Polypropylene?  It's common, comes in many different color and is pretty resilient.  There must be some good reason why it isn't popular for 3d printing.  Someone please tell me what it is.

Doesn't extrude well, doesn't print well. Has been posted here on the forums several times.

See I would have thought it would have been fine too (coming from a plastic pipe extrusion plant years ago). Formed a nice shell, took less energy to form, cost far less, cooled quicker than our ABS lines, and it smelled so much nicer.

A shame if that's the final answer.
