Topic: Print problems

I need your guys help in finding my issue, I have tried so many different things to fix this.  I am currently running on the G firmware.  The printer seems to dip in at certain parts of the print, which causes a wall or other things to not be symetrical with the rest of the print.  I even printed the bird bath thinking maybe it was XYZ ware or slicer as I did try w34's software update to load gcode directly, but this issue was before that.  I am attaching some pics of the prints.  The birdbath turned out aweful, and the pillars you can see a dip at the base of it, but then its perfect going up from there.  This is non-divince filament I am using, could it just be that?  I had no warping or issues with it letting loose from the bed.

Re: Print problems

It looks like you're printing at the wrong temperature.

What are the temp. specs for the filament you're using?

if it isn't broken, you haven't modded it enough

Re: Print problems

I think you may be on to something.  I cannot find an exact temperature setting for the filament anywhere but when my original filament ran out, my printer was set at 215 and I always got good prints, when I started printing with the new filament that is not xyz, the layers would peel away from each other, so I upped the temp with the cartridge resetter to 230.  The first couple prints turned out fine with that temp so I thought it was good.  I tried last night turning the temp back with the resetter and now I am getting the poor layer bonding again, but the prints look good again.  I may have to upgrade firmware to use repetier in order to get my temp to 220 since 215 is just not going to work.  Because I got those first couple good prints after temp change, I never thought that may be the problem.

Thanks
