Topic: Need to sell my filastruder/filawinder - Chicago

I hate to do this but my 1100 sqft condo just got a whole lot more crowded and I have no space to use it.  I never got it all quite dialed in but it should be all set for someone to get started with (hopefully) minimal effort.

Here's what I've got:
* Filastruder with upgraded kit housing
* Nozzle with melt filter
* Original motor, improved motor, Beta motor
* Replaced power supply with higher current version for beta motor
* Added PWM controller for motor
* Fused for protection
* Fully assembled filament winder
* Box of nylon powder
* 12 lbs abs
* 2 lbs PLA
* A bunch of colorant of different colors

I'm asking $350 obo, pickup only.  I'm in the city of Chicago, in Logan Square.

I really hope someone can get the use out of this that I couldn't!

If you're willing to ship to MA, and be willing to split the set, I'd be interested in the filawinder.

Maybe someone uninterested in the filawinder would take the rest of the setup locally, but I can wait to see if someone like that shows up.

Thanks

Tomek,

I need to find a good home for this locally.  There's too many delicate bits to ship assembled.

I mailed my Filastruder to fellow 3d printer hobbyist.  It cost about $20 through USPS Parcel Post.

Taking it apart before mailing is necessary.

That said, I'll offer about $200 + shipping for it.  That's around the going rate on eBay.

I have mailed kits in their fully assembled form, and they made the trip just fine.

I do vote for a local sale! That is usually best. That said, from what I've seen of the filawinder, I think it could survive a decently packed shipment with no problem. If it does not, I would trust that you packed it functionally.

Anyway, I get ahead of myself, since this would only apply if you found a buyer for the rest of the parts who didn't want the filawinder.
