Topic: Ecommerce 3D Printer Parts

Hi

I'm thinking of opening an online store for 3D printer parts.

Since my budget is low I'll only start with one or two products.

Could anyone of you tell me what is the most popular 3D printer part to buy separately?

Thank you.

Jonas

Re: Ecommerce 3D Printer Parts

I think there are a lot of parts that get replaced and would be cheap enough to source out.
Silicon Heater pads come to mind.
Hot ends
Thermistors
Heat cartridges
Wires and connectors
Stepper Motors
Control boards and stepper drivers
Bearings
Raw materials (Axis Rods)
Pulleys and belts
Fans
You name it and it gets replaced at some point.
Problem I see is there isn't exactly a shortage of places online to order these things so finding a niche is going to be tough.
I say "Best of Luck to Ya"

Printit Industries Model 8.10 fully enclosed CoreXY, Chamber heat

Thanks to all for your contributions

In addition:
*kapton tape
*white lithium grease
*blue painters tape
*various tools
  -hex drivers
  -screw drivers
  -paint scraper/razor scrapers

In addition, print a couple accessories as add-ons like fan shrouds, fan covers, etc.
I agree with wardjr. Best of luck. I personally would like to see a "one stop shop" for printer supplies big_smile
