Topic: Skirt is way of bed

Hi, I'm posting another question...

I updated firmware with some new X and Y steps. And then I sliced with Slic3r and the Visualization and G-code shows me a skirt that is way off the bed. The settings for the skirt is 6mm and 1 layer as standard.
So I changed back to the original firmware-file, but the same is happening now. I and don't dare to run it as it is. Without skirt is was normal.
Someone got an idea? Thanks

Firmware only affect the execution of the gcode.  If you open it in pronterface, does it show the same thing?  You didn't accidentally set it to 60 by mistake?  Have you tried printing it?  I might just be a bug with Repetier. 

Have a look at the gcode, and see if the first moves after the start are to some ridiculous coordinates like X-100 or Y250.

Are you using Slic3r 097?  I've already seen a couple of bugs with it, this might be another.

The settings is 6mm, not 60 smile Haven't tried it in Pronterface, and I don't dare to print it as it is. Maybe it will smash the carriage, but can try to set the travel speed very low and see.

Will try to change back to 096 later today.

What is the size of your bed in the Slic3r configuration?

The bed size is standard 150 x 150. Strange bug.

I downloaded the 096c-version, and that made the difference. It looks like a 097 bug by now.
The skirt is now visualized/G-code correct
