Topic: Anyone know if there an Education Discounts?

One of my friends is a teacher and I have been getting him interested in a 3D printer for his classroom at school. Anyone know of anywhere that might help him make this possible?

Check with Brook Drumm over at Printrbot.com.  Their philosophy has always been a 3d printer in the classroom.

My school got our Ultimaker 2 from Makershed with a 10% educational discount.  Makershed carries many printers, but remember that they markup their prices in order to turn a profit, so even with 10%, they may not be your best option.  They are located in the USA, which my school requires in order to purchase anything (even with money won from a competition).
