Thanks Azerate, looks cool... know if they are going to go into production??  I guess they will be waiting for the patents to be approved and then look to perhaps kick start it or something? $100 is darn good... just the speed to work on smile

you can found a model on thingiverse where you put a charpies pen and the filament.. when you print, the pen color the filament.. you can change color when you want by changing the pen... cost less than 1 $...

it's probably the same think with a "ink jet injector' ...

I have been experimenting with a chistle tip sharpie.  I cut a V in the tip and taped the pen to the frame so as the filament would drag thru the V. It works fairly well.

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

Why do people color the filament before extruding it, instead of running the pen on the perimeter of the printed part?
