Hi All,
I got a new product notice from Filabot this morning. They are coming out
with a grinder that will grind up failed plastic prints for reuse.
The price is steep at $439.00. It will be interesting to see what the grinder
blade looks like. Once found out one might be able to cook up a similar
home brewed design. Here is the link:
I have been using a blender to do the same job and if seems to work better if these pictures are a typical result.

Thanks for the links fredaxe. That is excellent! I looks like the same type of blades
that they use to shred auto bodies and engines. Its got me thinking of building
one now.
The real leader is this area is Marcus Thymark. His shredders have been out in the wile for nearly a year now:

but the maxi thickness that you can shredder is around 3mm!

He used to sell them that cheap. Blame it on inflation.

Some dry ice and a used blender is worth trying as an alternative to a $400 shredder.
