Topic: Partial clog?

When I click extrude my filament always curls up and sticks to the hot end.  Is this an indication of a partial clog or is it normal?  It has done this since day one when I had trouble removing the piece of filament that was left in during shipping.

Re: Partial clog?

I would say yes.

I have the same issue at the moment, and it will only extrude for a few seconds before the filament backs up and strips in the extruder.

Darn, I have been printing very successfully so I avoided asking the question.

Do you think it's a clog in the nozzle?  If so what is the best route to clear it?

Guitar string. It's probably a tiny bit in the nozzle. Better to clean it out now before it gets worse.
