I have a couple of rolls of Laywood, unused, which I may be willing to sell at a slightly discounted price.
I've found it instantly clogged by Solidoodle extruder, and until I can get myself a larger nozzle I think I'll give printing with it a miss.

Do you have the older solidoodle nozzle? Older one is 0.35mm and laywood requires >0.4mm

AFAIk it's the newer .4mm, but it clogged instantly and I really dont want to go through the process of dismantling the whole thing again if it happens again.
Sorry to hear you are having issues with it.
For some reason I used to get nozzle blockages with the laywoo-d3 on a .4mm nozzle, and drilled the nozzle out to .5 to fix the issue. But I think the mix was changes as I went back to .4 and haven't had a blockage since.
Would you consider getting a spare nozzle and just drill it out to .5 for wood ?
A spare nozzle is certainly on the cards, but I just haven't the spare cash to buy one at the moment so I thought of anyone wanted the laywood....
But, I'm in no hurry to sell it and if I get no takers I'll just hold on and get the nozzle eventually.
(or maybe a rig up a whole hot-end and quick change system so the risk is negated entirely.)
I can send you a nozzle for a couple cups of coffee. Does the SD use the same nozzle as the replicator2 ?
