Topic: No. 154, by REML

Well the box finally arrived today. The electronic alert triggered when the label was printed faked me out, but a mere 12 days later thanks to the miracle of the US Postal Service (only kinda sarcastic really, it's an amazing thing we take for granted), there it was on my doorstep today in perfect shape.

Unfortunately my build window this weekend was too small and I was unable to get the hopper printed.

But I have sufficient time at my makerspace scheduled for this Saturday so I should be able to get the hopper and OSP enclosure parts printed.

If the great folks at OSP can post the revised enclosure design in time (for my >134 rev1.1 unit), I also have laser cutter time setup.

That will lead to a full build attempt the following weekend which I plan to timelapse with my GoPro.

In the meantime, here's the incomplete link (not permitted yet) to my unboxing mini-vid:

(since I can't build it yet, I had to do something)

Oh, and I had ribs for dinner and I like long walks in the woods.

To be fair this is mostly my fault. I print in batches of 25-50 labels, but I only ship 10-20 a day, depending on how much time I have. Then, I only schedule package pickups once a week. USPS probably took the promised amount of time smile

Good luck reml. I wanted to do a build video, but I don't think my iphone is going to cut it. I would watch it just because I like building stuff. Maybe it'll give me something to do while I build my kit smile
