Topic: What's it called

I know I saw it linked here, thought it was from Ian.  3d printer that is home built using 3 linear shafts running vertically, and the head is attached with linear slides and arms that move up and down the shafts.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and the name of it?

This model is quite interesting. I like the concept but I wonder how much a pain itd be if it some how got out of calibration.

I love that thing. If I end up building another printer as a project it will be a Rostock.

Oh. *That printer!*
We met that fellow at maker faire. He had a huge version mounted on 50 gallon oil drum. He said
"It doesn't always work, but when it does - it looks cool!"
