Topic: How to IRC?

So this is a dumb question, but how do I connect to solidoodle's IRC channel? I finally found the link on the wiki, but can't seem to do much of anything once I'm there. Do I need an IRC client, something similar to ICQ?

Did you hear a beep?  The screen is empty cause you can't see what happened before you got there.  The entry field is all the way at the bottom.

Alternative: Download Chatzilla or mIRC - they are both excellent IRC clients, and give you a bit more power than using a web applet
