Topic: original solidoodle nozzle ?

hi.. i want to change my nozzle... i think this is a makergear original product ?

as usual, the price + invoice of solidoodle is a joke (9$ for the nozzle and 28.25$ for shipping A NOZZLE.)..  so is someone can tell me what is the size of the nozzle thread ? ( M something ? or imperial ? )

or soemone can give me a link where to buy compatible nozzle (all the nozzles i found were nozzles for makerbot system that didn't work with our hotend..)

edit : i answer to me.. it's a M6x1

Re: original solidoodle nozzle ?

It is definately metric. I believe it is 6mm thread. I took my old nozzle to Lowes and they had a gauge that I could use to find the size. I then purchased some nuts to thread on the barrel so I could hold it while I was removing the nozzle from the barrel. (When I attempted to remove the nozzle, the barrel removed itself from the peek).
