Topic: software issues. Help

So I am pretty proficient at 3D printing now, and had to replace my laptop that I print off of. I drew something in sketchup, sent it to Repetier and it loaded it microscopic size. I checked sketchup and it measures correctly. I loaded the file on my desktop and it also loaded tiny. I drew a 150mm cube, sent it to repetier on my laptop and it appears to be 8mm instead of 150mm. I tried drawing a 150mm cube on my desktop, sent it to Repetier and crap it did the same thing. Just for kicks I loaded a previous g code file and it is fine. What have I screwed up? I attached th 150mm cube.stl

Re: software issues. Help

Try scaling it by 25.4 in Repetier... it sounds like the old inches vs millimetres scale problem with the STL file.

Sounds like the typical metric mixup sketchup will do this depending on how you have some settings... just scale it up 25.4 times in repetier.
