Topic: Beautiful in blender, Horrible in Slic3r/Skeinforge

I've been working on a very complicated model in blender. It looks like this in blender(my current modeling program) and repetier host, and once sliced in cura(another program). but when sliced, it looks horrible. like 1/8th of the model exists, in seemingly random places.

There are probably problems with the STL.  Try uploading to cloud.netfabb.com for fixing.

Are you modeling as a single mesh or multiple?

I wrote this because as a 3d modeler I didn't always think the right way to model for 3d printing.
It's not just a CAD world here anymore smile

sometimes .. slic3r didn't like some model and create a buggy STL...

try to slice it in another software like kisslicer...
