i don't think anyone else has noticed this or commented if they have.

The dress is a 1 piece number and appears to be printed as SLA

Why is that important?

Thats a freaking huge dress that means it has to be a freaking huge printer.
A freaking huge SLA printer..... Just sayin

It must have been. I wouldn't be surprised if it was done through shape ways.

It was done through shapeways. Select Layer Sintering with Nylon.

I believe I heard it was done in 17 parts.
