Topic: Xyzprint does not recognize .stl files. Cannot import to the work spac

I have a new da Vinci minimaker.  When I loaded the software I had to load xyzmakersuite, and from that xyzprint.

I cannot access any .stl file through xyzprint.  I downloaded .stl files from xyz print gallery and from Thingiverse.  My computer shows the files existing.  When I go to that location using the import tab on the work space in xyzprint to get them, they do not show up in the location where the computer says they are.  I have not been able to get an answer for this problem from XYZprinting.

What am I doing wrong?  How do I import from xyzprint?

Could it be a UAC issue? Perhaps the install of XYZ does not have rights to the folder where you are trying to access the files from? Have you tried to run XYZPrint with elevated rights (as admin)?

Hi! I'm having the very same problem...software works fine with my notebook but doesn't recognize any .stl or .obj file when using the lab computer. How did you fix it?
