Topic: Nobel 1.0a RF Tag

Hi all,

Received a XYZ Nobel 1.0a from Amazon. I must say its a Fantastic machine it took me a while to calibrate and disregard the information I have read on this machine and start with the knowledge I know and now success rate is 99.9% higher then my Form1+

Object stick perfectly even large objects and supports perfect so can not grumble.

Now my dreaded question about the tag, is there away to hack / copy this tag?

I have a tag reader for my XYZ colour but have no program that can write the code for the nobel, if I can bypass this it would be perfect!

Also if anyone would like to know my technique to getting a perfect print and no fails let me know wink

Thanks Ryan

Re: Nobel 1.0a RF Tag

I can copy the tags but i have no idea how to change the colour or other settings at the moment because i only have clear resin at the moment. And have only started to use the printer yesterday.

I have not tested the clones on the printer yet, but i tried to read them for several days with a PC connected with a new Icopy8 and this would not read them until i uploaded the dump.

If anyone with experience at this wants to contact me then i will send the files.
I just stopped the first print because it came off the build plate halfway. At least i can try the tags shortly.

Another problem has just come to mind is about resins. This machine uses a laser to cure instead of a UV led. This means that the laser is a far more powerful light source as it cures in a fraction of a second, instead of seconds.

Might this be the problem with others that have tried compatible resins a had bad results? It might be the equivalent power of making the part with first layer exposure throughout the build.

Re: Nobel 1.0a RF Tag

This is GREAT I think by being able to copy is a start! if they read in the machine I have all the colours I could send!

I have a second machine but it requires a bootloader  or firmware as it will not initialise if you know how to compy from one machine to another would be great!

Re: Nobel 1.0a RF Tag

I managed to get the Nobel to read the 2 copies. I did not do a print with the resin but managed to get the machine to fill the Vat.
Then i tried to change the card number by one. That is where i messed it all up. The machine now does not recognize any of the copies. I tried to make sure that the data was safe so i moved it to another folder then run Synctoy to make a copy. Unfortunately it deleted them, except for one.

The last file. I think that i got in with this dump but i cannot remember which settings that i used on the Icopy8 software. At the moment i cannot copy my two copies, one of which i know worked. At least in part.

I have been looking for the firmware also with no luck. Probably why they do not release it is because this has the codes to unlock the bottles somewhere.

Re: Nobel 1.0a RF Tag

I remember how i got the machine to recognize the tag and load the Vat. I scanned the tag and only decoded 2/3rds of it. I think. The trouble is with the Chinese software and readers, is that there is no help for them in English and error messages are also in Chinese. I thought that the boxes on the reader showing green and black meant that it was only 2/3rds full.

Then i saved the data and also wrote it to a new tag. Which of course said "success". This was used on a Nobel 1. When i changed the data and used it on the machine it no longer accepts any of my copied tags. The originals are still accepted.

I will try it on a V1.0a soon, but am having a bad reaction to the resin. The backs of my hands are starting to look like i have grazed them and are all red. So i keep leaving it for about 12 hours. Yes, i do wear gloves but must have contaminated something nearby.

This needs someone with knowledge to scan the communication between the tag and printer as it is likely to be a known processor.
