Topic: Accidentally bricked Da Vinci 1.0 Pro - need to restore firmware.

I've looked everywhere and I cannot find a way to reset the firmware. When I connect the printer to my computer, no device is detected in the device manager (Windows). The pro doesn't seem to have the jumper pins like some of the other XYZPrinters.

If firmware has crashed during a load it will not recognized by the PC. You have to use a bootstrap type programmer and the original BIN file. The Bootstrap programmer is a program called Bossac or something like that.

Carl is right, the only problem is we don't have a decrypted firmware file for this printer.

How do you "accidentally bricked" it?

Please upload photos of your mainboard pcb.
