Topic: control board just going dead

i am trying to find out where i can get a new board for my winder. it got droped and now it doesn't power up at all

Email support at filastruder dot com, they should be able to sell you a replacement even though it isn't specifically listed on their website.  You may also look at the board for any broken solder joints and or traces and if you are able to solder, fix the board you have.
