Topic: Jr 1.0 finally sent me over the edge

I have been messing about with my jr 1.0 for years and now the time have come to move on. I managed the ruin the hotend but the non heated bed, lack of bed size and stupid filament nfc chip resets has caused me to break it down. I plan on robbing the stepper motors and the main frame and will probably resuse them in building something more akin to the prusa style clones.

Does the main board have any value to anyone? It's running an old firmware but works fine.

Any other ideas of bits to salvage specifically? Or bits the community would want?

Kind of in the same boat but I've only had mine a few months.

I updated to the latest firmware so I could use Cura (no filament tracking) and just recently hooked up Octopi to it so I can remote print. It does the job and tbh I don't know enough yet to be able to say whether a better printer would make a difference to me, but the size constraint is kind of a pain.

How do you plan to make the print area larger if you reuse the same frame?
