Topic: Best arrangement for Filastruder, sensor, and Filawinder?

I'm preparing to wall-mount my Filastruder and would like to know a good spacing for the components for uniform filament diameters.

I've done best with the winder 2-3 feet away (from nozzle to tubing) and the sensor about 2.5 feet below. But this may require some trial and error for your setup depending on material and cooling requirements.

Whatever you do, make it easy to re-arrange. The amount of material that hangs directly effects how much it stretches while cooling. There's only so much distance you can get between the winder and sensor, because of the cable connecting them. There's two points of your triangle right there.
