Topic: Circlip for screen in nozzle

On my 1.75 nozzle there is a screen and I got two circlips in kit so I am assuming they are meant to hold screen in place. However on my nozzle there is no groove to hold clip in place! Do I need to request another nozzle or is it not a big deal?

There is no groove, it is a friction fit.  Once you run plastic through it the forces seem to push it in more if anything.

On mine it kept popping out so I left it out figuring the plastic in the barrel would hold the screen in place.

I had to press it in pretty hard to get the edges of the screen smooshed down enough for the clip to stay in by friction. If you install it without the clip, expect the screen to move at some point.
