Topic: XYZ Da Vinci mini w+ - Not Printing Correct Files

I've lingered in these forums for a while for tips and tricks, but haven't had many issues until now. The problem is as follows:

Each time I attempt to print a file (namely buttons for surgical scrub caps to hold on face masks), it prints one that has not even been loaded into XYZPrint. It would process the file and prepare it, as one can plainly see in the preview window, but instead it prints another file(surgical mask strap extenders).

Here's the catch. The file it keeps printing isn't even in the recent files directory anymore, because I've uninstalled and reinstalled at least 5 times. I'm trying to reach a certain number of buttons, but I only have one printer that is printing the buttons because this one isn't exactly being compliant.

I would highly appreciate any recommendations for fixing this problem, as I can't seem to find any information on it.


Edit: I've narrowed it down to a software issue. When I use another laptop the buttons print fine, but when I use my personal one, only the strap prints.

For what is worth, if I start the "XYZprint.exe" directly I have the same issue unless I clear out all the new info it stores after every print under  "...\ProgramData\XYZprintingInc\XYZprint". However, if I start from "XYZmakerSuite", and from there call out "XYZprint" then everything works well from the beginning.

If using windows 7/10 it’s worth making sure that you are starting xyzprint as an administrator. Right click the xyzprint icon and choose “run as administrator” or “run with admin privileges”. I had this issue when printing from folders the print service couldn’t access. It would start a print and only the previous successful print would be sent. My suspicion is that it was cached somewhere and that cache wasn’t overwritten before the new print was sent to the printer.

I've done both those things, but since updating, my latest issue is that it now says "-- is required," as if it's not even registering that a material was selected. Currently it's not a major issue, as I'm out of NFC tags for now, but I'd like to be able to prototype Transformers instead of mask extenders.
