Topic: Help: Davinci XYZ 1.0 e3d offset problem

Hi all, i'm kinda stuck..

I have upgraded my head to an e3d nozzle and now it is way too low. I measured about 18mm. The hardware installation went well but i am having major issues with the height.

I have repetier and am having issues on where and how to set the height or the z offset. Whatever i try it keeps hitting the bed no matter what. I'm stuck sad

Can anyone help me out?

Take a look at the Z-Axis extension for DaVinci Pro 3in1 and E3DV6 Hotend on Thiniverse; https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4021276.

This slip-on extension will lower the print bed on the ZED Axis to permit reasonable distance settings in the Z-Axis offset configured via the LCD menu/settings interface.

This will also reduce the maximum height of any print job by approximately 5-10mm depending upon the accumulated physical & printer configured ZED offset.
