Topic: problems with scale or size of model

I am a model builder in West Palm Beach and I use Blender 2.8 for my builds. When I bring them into slicer(Photon), even if the original measure like 8 feet, it shows u minuscule in size and I need to upscale in slicer from 100 to 600 or better. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Even if I draw in 1000 scale it does not come in to size.

Palm Beach and I use Blender to make my designs and bring them into photon slicer. It makes no difference

Are you modeling in metric? Most programs are written and designed for metric values.

no...using imperial settings in Blender. Do you think that is the problem?

The slicer is setup for mm. Some will recognize a file done in imperial and ask if you want to convert. But Anycubics software may not be that intelligent. Try doing the same file in mm and see if you still get the same results.

Re: problems with scale or size of model

this happens with Solidworks models as well - you need to model in the scale that the default printer settings are.. most use metric, so model in metric. Great time to learn metric, btw. wink
