Topic: XYZ Junior 1.0 0030 Error on boot, dead?

Hi all,

First post here, have searched for my issue but not been successful so far in finding an answer. I am not up to scratch with 3d printers but my PC and electronics knowledge is pretty good.

The internal LED strip in my printer dimmed so low that it looked like it was off, this happened yesterday morning and now today it has switched off completely, whether thatis related or not I don't know but today I also have the 0030 error as soon as I boot the printer up, I cannot do anything at all with it.

I have tried moving both the sensor cabling and motor cabling to the Y axis to see if the code changed but it did not, the motor has not seized and have re-seated every plug on the board but to no avail.

Wondering if the motherboard is dying but would be really grateful for any help.

Sounds like a power supply issue or there was short that took out one of the supply fuses on the mainboard for the 12V buss.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
