Topic: Veracity ABS/PLA
Long time, no post!
I moved and accepted my old job back (building highways in Florida) and with a 60-90 hour a week schedule, I don't have the spare time I used to. So much so that i haven't been able to maintain and fire up my beloved Filastruder to make my own filament. Fortunately, for me, Filastruder started carrying Veracity brand filament with ABS/PLA/PETG. While I prided myself in making some kickass and consistent filaments both in color and diameter that rivaled rolls bought by bigger names, I couldn't spare the time and space to get back to extruding my own. However, Tim Elmore prefers to only sell quality products, so I gave it a shot.
No pics due to time constraints right now (still working 7 days for 4 months now), but I couldn't recommend this brand of filament enough. Since you can either buy it pre-spooled or buy (or print your own) a spool and then purchase 0.5kg or 1kg at a lower price and slide that bad boy onto your spool, it potentially saves you money for quality materials and cuts back on your trash of empty spools piling up/plastic trash ending up in the ocean/a hoarder's nightmare...whatever scenario you prefer here. The quality is top notch, diameter is very consistent, and I've never had a jam in any of my 8 functioning printers. All 8 have different nozzle diameters/metallic material, different extruders, different motors, different cooling fan designs, and different E3D models ranging from the v5, v6, Lite6, Aero, Volcano blocks, and Chimera. No issues ever over I want to say over a dozen rolls purchased.
Speaking of quality, I moved from Chicago back to Florida where humidity is a serious concern with filament and especially PETG. I've never dried the Veracity I received and even let it sit on my spool mounts for up to 5 MONTHS to finish out the roll with zero perceivable issues.
Serioulsy, you have to try this.
