Topic: Using Old Android Phone to send NFC code
Wouldn't it be possible to setup an old android phone and a specially printed spool to send the printer whatever NFC code we wanted?
Just trying to think simple and out side the XYZ box. Mine is one that is locked down and it wouldn' t let me print right out of the box with out updating the firmware to the latest version. So if can't downgrade and I have PLA from all over on order I hate to take it back and get an opensouce printer but IF i can't figure this out in the next couple of days that is exactly what is going to happen. I have seceral old andriod phones laying around that are NFC capable why not just use on to give the printer what it wants.
