Topic: da Vinci Jr. 1.0 rebooting

I just got a Jr and its rebooting on the start of each print if I start from XYZprint it is not restarting the print but if I print from SD card it will start again.

Any ideas?

Wifi or USB. Different cable? Reset wifi connection?

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

USB its not the wifi model (i got it 2nd hand) I'll try the try a different cable but not sure why it would be rebooting from that.

The cable could have an intermittent short on the 5 volt line which is what the logic on the mainboard runs on. So every time the line shorts it causes the processor to reboot which reboots the entire machine.

I found out it was the power brick cable I replaced it and problem solved!
