Topic: Solidoodle 3 - Issue with hot end replacement

Dears,

I get a clog in my Hot-End. I have followed the topic here: http://wiki.solidoodle.com/unclogging-procedures
The first solution does not work. Now I have to remove Hot-End and clean it. So I follow the procedure here: http://wiki.solidoodle.com/hot-end-replacement

All screws are removed. But when I am trying to remove the Hot-End, it is blocked: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAoV4m2u2wg

Does someone know what may happened? It is turning but it never goes back or forward.

sounds like yours is just a very tight fit and you just need try a little harder to pull it out taking care not to crack the acrylic.

the one in the 2nd video popped out quite easily. they do state that some may be harder to remove.
