Topic: Solidoodle running a Rumba with Windows 10

Windows 10 sees a unknown USB device, but wont load the driver. Have any of you setup Rumbas with Win 10? Any help and advice is appreciated.

I'm not a Rumba user.  I Googled to see what Rumba and Win10 info was out there; didn't find much.

What position is the USB power jumper in? Not a win10 user but have plenty of Rumba experience. If it’s in the wrong the board won’t show up unless 12v Power is supplied.  In the USB position it receives power from the USB.  Some systems simply don’t provide enough power to run the Rumba.  I’ve had others that will be recognized with USB power only after an initial start using external power.
Just tossing around ideas for you.

Re: Solidoodle running a Rumba with Windows 10

The board is powered by the supernight. It works fine in windows 7, but I was looking at a using my wifes laptop since she was requesting a upgrade. I tried loading said laptop with Win7, but there are no drivers for the USB hub or the video for win7. I restored it back to 10 and it sees the board. It comes up and says unknown USB device. when you give it either of the available Rumba drivers, one says cant load because its not a signed driver, and the other errors out and crashes
