Topic: New bee - please help me printing my .stl file

Hi community,

I bought recently a SLA - D7.
I want to print a file using creation workshop, the object is bit complex.
While slicing the .png slices looks ok ( I can imagine the .png files resemble 3D File).

But the print is failing (can't print properly).
I have tried many options in whole week but no success.

Can somebody assist me,  I can pay for the time assisting me.
It is getting into my nerves, and I need to print this object.

Thank you in advance.

sorry, but a .png is not a 3d file.

png stands for "portable network graphics" and is similar to a .gif file in its use.

you need a .obj, .stl, or possibly a .dxf file type depending on what the slicing software will accept.

What she is probably talking about is that the slicer that comes with the D7 which is a DUV printer converts the slices to a PNG that is projected on the LCD during the exposure process. With most slicers you don't really see a complete slice like you do in the SLA printers if you view slice by slice.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Welcome Yes, But as others have said we need a boat load of information to even began to help you. The easiest way is to show a screen print of you Creation Workshop settings. For both machine and slicer. Also which version is your D7? Have you tried the custom Creation Workshop just for it?
