Topic: Printbed davinci 1.0

Hello everyone,

After fixing my problems of shifting x-as i now have another problem.

My glass is broken/splinterd.

Know my quistion is there another heatpart and glass that can be used for this, because this is my second heatbed thats plinterd without my own fold

As long as it still heats you can just get a piece of 6mm tempered glass cut to the same size and place it on top of the broken glass. The hold downs have screws long enough to do this. The draw back is you will no longer be able to use the auto level and you will have to set an offset to compensate for the extra 6mm. I did this to mine when it broke and had no further issues.

Nope it dos'nt heat annymore for 100%.
I already just installed a new one, but i'm looking to tweak the printbed so i don't be appended for the official parts of xyz.
It's not normal that you must spend 65 euro for a new print part, after tweaking that bed i only need 10 euro or less to replase the glass if it happens again.

I will post my progress on that part here.
