Topic: Need Help! Davinci Mini W

Hi Everyone! I searched and cannot find anything on the stock wiring even on Google, so hopefully someone can help me. I unplugged and removed all my wiring and was in the middle of converting to ramps when I fried my ramps board and I didn't take any pics of the stock wiring so if anyone has any pics it would be very helpful. I have all my original wiring just unsure what goes where cause at the moment I have the case removed and its just a bare metal printer frame with no wiring. I need to know what wires come from the board to which part on the printer. I would have remembered, but its been a few months now and due to layoffs and job issues I'm forced to replace ramps with the original davinci board until I can upgrade

Just get a wiring diagram of a RAMPS from a Google search then instead of trying to fit the RAMPS to the printer fit the printer to the RAMPS. The only one that will give you an issue is the endstops if you kept stock as all the wires are the same color. But once you figure on out the other two will be the same. Just note you cannot connect stock optical endstops directly to a RAMPS. I also am pretty sure there are more than one thread covering this with images in the XYZ section.

I'm looking for the stock davinci board wI ring until I'm able to purchase another ramps board cause I accidentally shorted mine. My printer has been down too long and I can't afford another ramps board atm due to being laid off. So I'm putting my original board in until I can replace it but I don't remember how to wire it as its been down for the better part of 3 months

There are labels on the mainboard, only thing can possible pluged wrong is x-motor and y-motor, it will not burn anything if you plug it wrong, just switch back if wrong axis is moved.

(The picture above have extra two white 4 wire cable wire soldered on the bottom left with no plugs, you should not have those two cable wires)

In most case, when people burned the RAMPS board have burned D2, check if you got resistance from only one direction.
You can replace D2 with D1 if you can not find replacement, but you will have to power MEGA board from USB.

Also try to unplug and replug your power supply and check the fuse, some times they enter protection mode or burned the fuse and lead to mis-diagnose.

Thanks! This is exactly what I was looking for.
Where does E1 connect & Multi-motor. Those are the only 2 I'm unsure of tomorrow night I will connect them where I think they go and see what happens. Until then I'll check back with this post.

Nevermind I have it figured out. Thanks for evryones help. I look forward to being a member of this group and I'm planning on purchasing another printer when taxes get back

Could also use a pic of the extruder board as they are simply labeled j3, j4, and j5. Thanks so much! This group does great work

The black connector is for heating element. The other two you can give a try. You will not burn your fan by connect it to NTC port, it just will not spin.

I fried my ramps board

Are you sure it is the ramps board. The arduino is a little more sensitive . there are not a whole lot of components on the RAMPs to fail.

My arduino around the usb port gets very hot even if the usb is not connected just 12 volts. If I connect it to the computer it doesn't get hot without the 12 volts. My computer recognizes it, but it gets so hot that you can't touch it no smoke just extremely hot instantly burns to the touch

take out D1 and power the arduino with USB. D1 is located under X-axis and Y-axis motor driver slot.
