Topic: Everything 201C ... everything... always... WHY!?!?

I thought the temperature was locked into the RFID tag in the cartridge? I've just discovered that the reason my "Clear Yellow" filament doesn't work is that it's supposed to be 210C, but the printer defaults to 200C... and I have to dial in +10C to print properly!

Same issue with the plain white filament.

These are genuine XYZ cartridges, not tampered with, brand new out the packet today!

I'm running the latest firmware. I'm also wondering if the reason I've been having so many print issues is the temperature isn't automatically adjusting to where it should be.

Last I read the new firmware and host allows manual adjustment of Temps. That being the case you either now have to set Temps yourself or their could be an automatic setting that needs to be set or manual needs to be cleared in settings if possible. Just a guess though.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

I think you could be right, but of course the rolls themselves don't say what temp to use...
