Topic: Cleaning my STL

So I have been drawing my models in anticipation of the SD2 arriving, but I am having some dificulty in cleaning the STL's. Using Meshlab it shows I have some overlapping triangles, but when I go back to sketchup and use x-ray mode, it dosn't show any internal geometry. Can you manualy erase lines in meshlabs? I can't get the clean up feature to work. Is there another program thet works better for cleaning? Also when I slice, it tells me that I have a hole at 13.0000000 , 12.00000000, but no holes seem to show up in meshlab. How can I locate the hole from there. I assume that is a coordinate from 0,0 but have no idea how to or if you can use those coordinates to find the problem. Any Ideas? My other problem is slic3r is not slicing some of my models or atleast within 24 hours. replicator G seems to do it pretty fast. Can you use replicator g with setting changes to suit the solidoodle, or is it too much work? Should I just download an old slic3r edition?

Upload it to cloud.netfabb.com to have them automagically fix it up for free.

slic3r should be cutting your models in under 15 mins... how many triangles are we talking about? You should aim for ~100k.  If you have much more than that you are gonna want to decimate it down.
